On behalf of fellow collaborators and members, I cordially invite you to the 2021 International Meeting of the Microbiological Society of Korea (MSK2021) that will be held on August 25-27, 2021 at the Changwon Exhibition Convention Center (CECO), Gyeongnam, Korea.

MSK was founded in 1959 and is one of the most active and leading microbiological societies in Korea. The symposium will present and discuss cutting-edge research in diverse fields of basic and applied microbiology. The program consists of 2 Noble laureate lectures, 5 exciting plenary lectures by world-renowned scientists and 16 parallel sessions addressing a variety of topics in microbiology. Furthermore, the meeting will also provide a unique opportunity for graduate students to young scientists to present their scientific findings in oral and poster sessions, as detailed in the accompanying scientific program.

As you all understand, we live in an era of dramatic development and progress in science and technology. Microbiology is no exception, so scientists should actively communicate with each other to share ideas and advance national and global collaborations.

In this light, it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you all to our international conference of MSK in Gyeongnam, Korea, which will provide you with rich academic challenges as well as social relationships.
